IN HER SHOES

Have you ever wondered when a movie crosses the line from romantic comedy (YOU’VE GOT MAIL) to “in your face and not looking back” chick flick? Well I have found the answer … IN HER SHOES crosses the line and doesn’t look back. As we waited for this movie to begin I found myself looking around to kill time only to realize that the theater had been transformed into a sea of female faces - the sign of death.

IN HER SHOES is a movie about sisterhood and the demons we bring into all relationships. As the movie unfolds, we see these demons expressed and relaxed by a grandmother no one knew. The acting is good, but Cameron Diaz makes me sick. The pacing could have used some work towards the middle, but a story had to be told ... and told ... and told.

In order to understand the demons brought into relationships, we must first walk in those demons. This is the underlying message of IN HER SHOES … for what it’s worth.

Ahhh...this was much better than the average chick flick! Anyone who's ever had that sister relationship should relate to this movie--it was awesome! Brice, I'm amazed that Kristin got you to go to this movie--she's got a spell on you!

Oh, it was cute. But I could have done without Cameron walking around in her underwear over half the show.
